Dinner Tonight!

The guests having dinner at Monmouth Plantation this evening will be fortunate to experience an amazing meal prepared by our award winning chef team lead by Executive Chef Scott Varnedoe! Below is a list of some of the specials that are on the 1818 menu for tonight: October 18, 2009.


Pork Tenderloin, with a white bean ragout, fried okra, and black berry gastrique


Cauliflour Puree, with red pepper preserves (Heart Healthy)


Ruby Red Trout, with pecan and sage barley risotto, sautéed spinach, mushroom broth, and shallot pickles (Heart Healthy)

Duck Breast, with mushroom ragout, gouda grits, and charred green onion pickles


White Chocolate Bread Pudding with sage braised blackberries and rum cream

Flourless Chocolate Cake topped with café brulot foam and orange, vanilla poppy seed geleé, and vanilla ice cream
